seventh day in california. beautiful and hot here. turkeys. gophers. mysterious breaking glass [i think it was a gopher]. musical crickets i swear. and wildfires around PAVE PAWS.
everything one would want california to be.
and im blogging at 5 am because i just woke up nauseated. but boy am i glad i woke up.
they say that the average person [dont know whether im above, equal to, or below] swallows seven spiders in their lifetime.
i just woke up to meet what i believe is number three.
i named him sinclair.

1st of all, i love it when you write. please do it more often.
and wait. i'm so confused. you swallowed a spider? or you saw one that you thought would have potentially been swallowed if you hadn't woken up?
and sinclair is a great name. i thought about maybe naming one of my kids that some day. maybe i could name him after sinclair lewis (even tho i don't like what i've read by him) or maybe after upton sinclair (who i think i really like him). anyways.
